Completed my video project today, went with the aerospace side, yet again, here is the finished product take a look see:

Working on the video project now, am doing a hockey compilation, hoping to be able to incorporate some other clips into this presentation. I am planning on the main audio t be the Top GUn anthem as it works nicely with changing pace to match the clips, the difficulty obtaining videos is my main worry especially with only a few days left to finish this project

This nike commercial is quite humorous, has little to no relevance to anything in this class but was a fun video and was well done

Amazing video

THis video was done for an animation project at VRS and is one of the best things I have seen on youtube, the music works incredibly well and the imagery is great

Website Progress

Finally have gotten a good roll going on the website assignment have the template finished, the only problem is that my button rollovers arent as seemless as i would lik dut i can get over that. Here is a bit of a taste of what the templates are going to look like:

looking over all of the websites that i have i am largely inspired by the one shown on the class blog for the phoenix agenda, the website is clean and very sharp looking. I like the clour scheme and am going to try and use the same type of contrast idea on my own page. I want to go for more of a futuristic console look on my page but am struggling with a few of the elements. Didnt realise how essential photoshop was going to be for al of our projects, am glad that i knew how to use it before i took the class

Begining to draw up ideas for my webpage, looking to go for more of a sci-fi look. Sadly i cannot use my collage as a basis for it doesnt hold enough of a istinct element within it to use. I am also trying to learn html so that i can add some extra fatures to my page so that it will be bit more impresive.

October 18

Today our second project was due, i went through about 5 different collages before i had an idea that I actually liked. In the end these are the two I chose between, I chose the first one:

October 11, 2006

This class we got our self portraits back, we went over the images and talked about the strong and weak aspects of each. In my portrait My photo wass incredibly strong and i took away the impact by mounting it with my licenses and having a different coloured background. So i need to keep more to the keep it simple idea. Overall though i was happy with how my imaged worked out and now am almost finished the collage.

October 6

Ya there has been no events of consiquence in this class lately, michael hasnt been here for a few, days we now have a substitute proffesor. Because of this ther collage that was suppose to be due 2 days ago is no longer due, this class is becoming a bit of a gong show but guess thats just how things go

Project1

Handed in my first project today, I got it printed at the school then I mounted it with my student pilots permits in order to play more to the affect of being a pilot. As wells as to take up the background. This project was more rushed then i had planned but endded up turning out so I was happy

Sept 22

welearnt about a multitude of new tools, includeing hue and many other colour manipulations. Also got to go over the transform tool, and worked more on cropping with paths. Were able to manipulate and combine multiple images, here is an example:

Our assignments due date has been pushed back which allows for me to find/take a better picture to use for the self portrait. I still have no idea what i am going to do in photoshop to make my picturee unique but hopefully i figure it out sometime soon.

Sep 11, 2006

This is a couple days late but still doing it our class was spent on recognizing our feelings and giving a feelings inventory. We did this for as artists since emotion and feelings are something we incorporate into our work we need to understand and recognize them. There was a large variety of reaction in the class, from embarasment to shock. At the end of class we again began to analyse the Cindy Sherman photo, there was no clear consensus and there is no answer so it was just a good exercise to try and see what different colours and tecniques in a photo can mean
